REV WILLIE STANDIFER

REV WILLIE STANDIFER
Born in Gary, Indiana, has been singing publicly since
the age of 8. He realized that his ability to sing is a gift
from God and chose at an early age to use his gifts to
glorify God.
Rev. Standilfer has performed with a variety of groups
and other artist over the years. Some of his musical
achievements include becoming an award winning soloist
and chorus member in high school; soloist with the
Purdue Varsity Glee Club where he also received the
honors of Distinguished Hoosiers and the first Afro-
American to be inducted into the Purdue Glee Club Hall
of Fame as a pop soloist.
Rev. Standilfer has performed and recorded with artist
and groups of notoriety such as The Rev. James
Cleveland and the Gospel Music Workshop of America;
Gladys Knight; The Lucille Lemon Gospel Chorus;
Brother Frank White and the Bretheren; The Craig
Brothers; The Metropolitan Spiritual Churches of
Christ, Inc. Mass Choir; The Detroit Chapter of the
Gospel Music Workshop of America; Fouriner; Purdue
