Emergency Housing

We provide information for temporary housing for seniors that are discharged from a valley hospital or referred by

an approved social service agency and are in need of temporary housing.

We provide referral to counselors, social counselor, and family reunification counselors.
Both our housing and in home support services are designed to meet the individual needs of those who require help with “activities of daily living” or “instrumental activities of daily living”.  Elder HelpLv is committed to assist you as a personal independent and assisted living resource referral guide during your research and evaluation process.

Keeping Families Sheltered

These services are focused on keeping families intact and housed.Often times a family is torn apart when they face homelessness because most shelters do not allow men (any male over the age of 13) to be sheltered in the same facility as women. HopeLink of Southern Nevada provides the ability for families to stay intact. For up to 30 days, a family who meets the criteria of future self-sustainability may be placed in a contracted weekly rental motel. This allows the HopeLink of Southern Nevada case manager daily interaction with the family while they are working to save money for rent, utilities, and deposits on a new home. During this period, the parent is counseled on how to avoid future bouts of homelessness and solid goals are established with the purpose of planning for the future.
